Easy Homemade Butter Pecan Granola

This easy homemade butter pecan granola is crunchy, slightly sweet and oh, so good! It's easy to make and it will soon be your new favorite granola recipe. 

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup pecans - chopped
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325°.
  • Combine the oats, coconut, pecans, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup, salt, and vanilla.
  • Pour over the oat mixture and stir to mix well.
  • Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and place into the oven.
  • Cook 30 minutes or until everything is an even, golden color.
  • Stir every 10 minutes and be careful not to burn the nuts.

Notes: Store the cooled granola in an airtight container like a mason jar.
