Place chicken wings in a large zip-top bag, large bowl or container. Pour marinade mixture over chicken, seal or cover, and keep cold for about 2 hours. Fire up whatever you are cooking on and preheat to 400 degrees F or medium to high heat. Place wings directly on the grate, over indirect heat, and cook for approximately 30 minutes or until cooked through rotating wings every 5 minutes. Meanwhile, place whole peanuts on griddle or baking sheet, turning occasionally with a metal spatula for 5 to 7 minutes, to lightly roast. Remove wings from grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes. While wings are resting, shell the peanuts, and transfer to a resealable plastic bag. Use whatever is available (tent pole mallet, can, rock, etc.) to crush the peanuts, then scatter peanuts on top of the chicken wings.
