When the weather starts to cool, I love going to the pumpkin patch. We always go to Peebles Farm in Augusta.
They have been growing over the years (do you see what I did there?) and have so much to offer from the corn maze, hayride, bonfire, corn cannon, farm animals, play areas, food, picnic areas and of course PUMPKINS! They have pumpkins in every shape, size, and color.
Before we went last week, I happened to be perusing Pinterest and came across a pin from Alice and Lois, a fun DIY/Food/Style blog written by twin sisters.
A few weeks ago they wrote a post about Indigo Marbled Pumpkins which you can check out here.
They were so beautiful so when we went to Peebles I was in search of white pumpkins to repeat the project.
This afternoon I spent some time in the front yard making some of my very own marbles pumpkins and it was a lot of fun. I even decided to give Facebook Live a go during the process. I had some “technical difficulties” and ended up sideways but it was fun trying a new social tool. I am already thinking of other ways I can use Facebook Live in the future.
Anyway, I don’t want to steal too much thunder from Alice and Lois so head over to their site (link above) for all the materials and instructions. Tell them Julie from JulieDKohl.com sent you over.
Here is my first Facebook Live video! It’s sideways but it’s not too long and you’ll still get the gist! Also, don’t forget to like my page!
