Sharing is caring!

Gathering around the campfire as the sun dips low and the stars begin to light the sky is the best way to cap off a hard day of camping. What makes it even better is a delicious marshmallow treat like campfire S’mores Cones.

S’mores cones are a delicious, slightly less messy version of s’mores that cook easily and are easy to handle, especially for kids.

Traditional s’ mores are gooey and sticky. And nothing ruins a s’more more quickly than a burnt marshmallow (unless you’re one of those weirdos that like burnt marshmallows!) or a piece of chocolate that refuses to melt. But s’mores cones offer all of the delicious ooey gooey melty marshmallow and chocolate goodness of traditional s’mores in an easy to cook and easy to hold and eat package.

Grab a sugar cone and fill it with alternating layers of mini chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. It doesn’t matter if you finish with marshmallows or chocolate.

Wrap the cone carefully with a piece of foil.

Repeat until you have created enough cones for everybody.

Set the foil-wrapped cones directly on a pile of coals or next to a roaring fire. Turn every 15-30 seconds until the marshmallows and chocolate are melty. Allow the cones to cool for about one minute before unwrapping and serving.
