I love everything about Fall and I love Fall-themed picture books. The list of books in our personal library is always growing and we regularly check out stacks of books from the library. The bright oranges, yellows, and reds often found in fall books make me feel all warm and cozy as the weather starts to turn cooler. Today we are reviewing F is for Fall by Joy Hardin.

F is for Fall Summary:
Get ready with this children’s book designed to help with letter recognition, counting practice, and learning fun Fall Facts. This enhanced Kindle version also has embedded links for resources, books, and videos to help create entire units around the Fall theme and alphabet.
Our thoughts:
Our son loves to read and I loved that this alphabet book went far beyond just naming words that start with each letter like many alphabet books do. Each word centers around the theme of Fall but incorporates topics such as science, elections, weather, the fall holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving and even other cultures. Each new word is defined in a way that is meaningful while still being understandable to kids and the book has several seek and find and counting suggestions.
F is for Fall is available as a paperback and on Kindle. Do note that the Kindle version is not compatible with all Kindles so check compatibility before purchasing.
Our Rating:
We give F is for Fall 4/5 Campfires.
