S’mores Truffles {Find it, Make it}

I am no baker. Sure I can make a mean chocolate chip cookie following the directions on the back of a yellow bag of chocolate chips but I really am no baker. I don’t like pie and cakes are what they have bakeries for. So, if you follow me “on the line” at all you may be wondering what a “cook” was recently doing at a “bake” sale.

Well I am living proof that you can attend a bake sale and even bring “baked” goods without ever baking anything!

That’s right, those delicious S’mores Truffles I brought (which flew off the table before the chocolate encasing their marshmallow-y, graham cracker-y inner goodness could even think about melting) we’re made without, gasp, BAKING!

And they were so good you can bet I will be in my kitchen not-baking up a batch of these babies on a regular basis.

Here’s the lowdown:

In one of my many hours perusing Pinterest (yes, I have a slight problem), I came across the recipe for something called a S’mores Truffle.

At the first hint of spring, I am begging my husband to light a campfire so we can make S’mores. These babies were singing their siren song to me.

I hopped on over to High Heels & Grills, perused the recipe and thought to myself, “Four ingredients. No Baking. S’MORES? I can do this!”

And I did. And they were amazing! But trust me when I say, ONE BATCH WILL NOT BE ENOUGH! Save yourself the drama and the drive and buy enough ingredients to make TWO batches of these babies!

The ingredients are simple:
1 Box of Graham Crackers
7 oz. of Marshmallow Creme (or Fluff depending on where you live)
2 oz. of creme cheese
16 oz. of melting chocolate

That’s it! And putting it all together is even easier. I’ll let you hop on over to High Heels & Grills yourself to get the how-to because she came up with the recipe, not me. But trust me when I say, it is well worth the click!
