Fried Egg Sandwiches {Budget Meals}

Sharing is caring!

It is possible to make really good food on a budget!  I work in a low-income school district and many of my students have expressed that they eat a lot of convenience food because it is typically cheaper than fresh foods.  I have started {Budget Meals} as an effort to help low-income families learn how to cook quick, easy, and HEALTHY meals with only a few ingredients.  If you know someone who can benefit from this recipe please pass on the link or feel free to use the printing tool below to print and share this recipe.  If you have ideas for budget meals that you would like me to share leave a comment or email me at willowtreecreek@gmail.com.

  1. I love fried egg sandwiches! They are great late night, or really any time. But I use mayo instead of butter. On just one side. And no cheese. That makes it a little tangier although not so protein-filled. I actually add 1 fried egg to a burger a lot of times to add more protein as well! Again instead of cheese (can you tell I am not a big cheese fan?) It’s yummy! Thanks Julie!
