Foster a love of Christmas and some fun families with this fun Christmas Tree Farm Bingo Game!
Some of my fondest memories as a child center around the holidays. Our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm was a much-anticipated family event that often included sleigh rides, bonfires, hot cocoa and lots of Christmas carols. Now that I have a child of my own, I hope to create that same sense of wonder and excitement for him.

Selecting the Best Christmas Tree Farm
Choosing the right Christmas tree farm for your family may not be as simple as selecting the one closest to you. Growing up we visited several different ones but often chose farms that offered a full experience rather than simply trees. Some families may prefer going to Walmart and getting a tree that’s been leaning on a chain-link fence for a week, but that’s not my style.
I want all the things! So, I recommend doing some research to see what local Christmas tree farms are offering. If you’re in Arkansas you can check out these Arkansas Tree Farms. If you’re not in Arkansas, search for local farms online or on social media to find one that offers things your family will enjoy.
Make a Day of It
Once you select your farm, plan your outing and make a day of it. Depending on the weather, we usually aim to go on Black Friday. While everyone else is out Christmas shopping we’re selecting a tree.
Our favorite farm is the Romance Christmas Tree Farm in Romance, Arkansas. They grow Leyland Cypress on-site and bring in a host of pre-cut trees from the cold forests of Michigan.
We usually get up early so we are one of the first there and then we enjoy train rides, a bonfire and candy canes. Santa is often checking up on kiddos and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Even though we prefer the short needle pre-cut trees we enjoy wandering through the rows of Leyland Cypress and snapping a few family photos.
A Fun Game for the Whole Family
This year, we’re going to be making our trip even more fun with a game of Christmas Tree Farm Bingo! We only have one child so we will probably just print one card and play together with a fun prize for George at the end. If you have several children or visit the tree farm with friends or family, this Bingo game could get super competitive!

Teenager Adaptation
If you have teens, you can turn this game digital. In addition to marking each find on their card, they must also snap a selfie. The first person to get five in a row wins! If you take any selfies, we’d love for you to tag us on Instagram @seekadventuresblog and use #seekadventuresblog.
Small Family/Young Children Adaptation
If you are a small family or you have small children we recommend printing one card as a family and using it as more of a Scavenger Hunt than a Bingo Game. Parents can name one thing from the list and everyone can look for it. When you find it, mark it off. Reward yourselves with a prize when you are done!
